Seneca County To Work With Cayuga Nation

After a couple of decades of fighting the Cayuga Indian Nation, there are indications that the Seneca County Board of Supervisors is now looking to work with the Nation.

This week, even without any Cayuga Indian related business on their agenda, the issue came up during discussion by the supervisor’s Intergovernmental Affairs Committee and Fayette Supervisor Jeff Trout over the recent purchase of property by the Cayugas in the town of Fayette.
