Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Offering Boating Safety Classes

You can sign up now for two Boater Safety Classes being offered this spring by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.

Anyone who operates a boat or jet ski in New York will be required to have a Safe Boating Certificate by January 1st. To receive the certification, you will only need to attend one of the classes that are scheduled for April 27th and May 18th in the Training Room at the county’s Law Enforcement Center in Romulus.

The classes are free to take but there is a ten-dollar fee to receive a permanent Safe Boating Certificate.
