The Seneca County Deputy Sheriff Jordan Morgan recently graduated from the Basic Course for Police Officers presented by the Finger Lakes Law Enforcement Academy.

According to Sheriff Tim Thompson, this training began in February and encompassed over one thousand hours of classroom and practical exercises that concluded with field training. Deputy Morgan will now finalize his field training and will soon be on solo patrol while serving and protecting the residents and visitors of Seneca County.

“We are very proud of Deputy Morgan and look forward to his contributions to our team. He has worked very hard and has certainly earned this momentous day. I would also like to commend Chief Deputy Reed for his dedication throughout the Academy as he assisted a great deal in delivering quality instruction to the class,” remarked Sheriff Thompson.
