It’s been almost two weeks since the Seneca County Board of Supervisors placed Manager Kyle Lovell on paid, administrative leave over undisclosed allegations.

Chairman Mike Enslow has taken over the Manager’s role temporarily.  While speaking on Finger Lakes News Radio’s “FLX Morning” with Ted Baker, Chairman Enslow said the process any time an allegation of wrongdoing comes up, an investigation needs to take place.

“Everybody’s entitled to a process,” said Enslow. “I’m not saying there was wrong or wasn’t wrongdoing, and there are allegations all over the Internet and a lot of it is untrue. They don’t know because personnel matters are always quiet and I know that frustrates taxpayers. Everybody has a right to a process, both parties, the county, and the county manager.”

Enslow said it will probably be 30 to 60 days before a ruling will be made on the allegations being investigated.
