A second person has been arrested in connection with a child being removed from a home after police determined the living conditions posed an immediate risk.

Acting upon a request from Child Protective Services, Seneca Falls Police say they found drug paraphernalia, knives, and broken glass inside the home and all within the child’s reach. 34-year-old Jessica Hopf has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

42-year-old Jason Hopf was initially charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

An order of protection has been sought on behalf of the child, who was turned over to a family member at another residence.
