Jury selection begins today in the criminal trial of limousine company owner Nauman Hussain.

Schoharie County prosecutors say Hussain allowed a stretch limo on the road that crashed in October 2018 killing the driver, 17-passengers and 2-pedistrians including a Seneca Falls native and a Moravia resident.

The case has been delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic and the forced closure of New York’s courts. That was followed by the 2021 no-jail guilty plea deal that was thrown out last August by a judge who took over the case.

Rob Dyson-a Seneca Falls native-his wife Mary, and her three sisters were killed in the crash.  Moravia resident Brian Hough, was a SUNY college professor, along with his father-in-law, they were killed while standing in the parking lot where the limo crashed.
