Over 2,200 people have signed an online petition to “Save the Music” in Canandaigua. It calls for allowing ‘amplified music’ at Twisted Rail Canandaigua.

The Brewing Company has been hosting live bands both acoustic and amplified since 2016. Co-owner Ian Boni says amplified bands are now a problem, with the new hotel and condos open next door. Some residents have complained.

Twisted Rail leases the property from the city and the lease says no amplified music, but it was never enforced because there were no complaints. Twisted Rail says losing the live music hurts business.
