Could Shooter McGavin be making a big-screen comeback?
Variety online reports that in a recent radio interview, Romulus native and Hobart grad Christopher McDonald said Adam Sandler recently showed him the first draft of a script for “Happy Gilmore 2.” McDonald portrayed McGavin, an arrogant pro golfer who played opposite Sandler in the popular 1996 hit film.
Variety has reached out to Sandler’s representative for comment.
