Report: South Seneca Teacher Resigns After Alleged Incident With Student

A teacher at one Seneca County school has resigned after being accused of having unwanted physical contact with a student.

Jessica Pfeil was charged with making contact with the student at South Seneca Elementary School as the child was leaving for the day. Interlaken Police charged Pfeil with harassment for the May 31st incident after concluding its investigation, which included reviewing surveillance video.

WETM-TV reports the school district said Pfeil resigned from her job on June 12th.
