If you live in the town of Seneca Falls you’ll have a chance during your lunch hour Thursday to voice your opinion on a proposed more than $17 million upgrade to the town’s water treatment plant and distribution system.

A public hearing and special meeting will be held at noon to consider a resolution to borrow or bond for up to $17.7 million for the project. Supervisor Mike Ferrara told the Finger Lakes Times the town has applied for at least five million dollars in grants, with the balance to be borrowed over several years.

Thursday’s public hearing will be held in the municipal building.
