Police believe the driver of a car experienced a medical episode before being involved in a one-car accident on Saturday in Ontario County.

91-year-old George Pettinger, of Canandaigua, was driving east on County Road 4 shortly after nine Saturday morning when he apparently lost control of his car and went off the road at the roundabout. Pettinger was taken to Geneva General Hospital for evaluation.

Seneca Castle Firefighters assisted the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
