Police say a man from Ontario, Canada, drove to Canandaigua on Saturday to have sex with a 14-year-old.
Ariel Cieslak, of St. Catherines, is accused of engaging in an Internet chat with someone he believed was 14. Canandaigua Police were notified of Cieslak’s intentions and the arrangement he had allegedly set up. When the 45-year-old showed up at the meeting place, he was arrested by a Canandaigua Police Detective and charged with attempted rape.
Cieslak was released on an appearance ticket.
