An Ontario County mother has been arrested after her infant child was found walking alone on Main and Church streets in Phelps.
Police say Michelle Lead’s two-year-old had no shoes or shirt on when he was located walking Saturday afternoon.
The 32-year-old Lead was taken into custody without incident and was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports a refrain from Order of Protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
