The Ontario County man who bilked investors out of more than a million dollars is headed to prison.

Thomas Corsaro was sentenced Thursday in U.S. District Court in Rochester to four years for his wire fraud conviction. While acting as an investment advisor, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said the 60-year-old Bloomfield man took money from eight clients, and rather than invest it he used the money for his personal use. Corsaro admitted to taking more than $1.7 million.

In addition to prison time, Corsaro must make full restitution.
