With Halloween over, what should you do with your Jack-O-Lanterns and pumpkins?
In Ontario County, you can drop off your pumpkins to be composted. Free and open to county residents, pumpkins will be accepted at the Ontario County Parking Lot in Canandaigua, the Town of Geneva Transfer Station, and the Town of Victor Transfer Station.
Gourds, flowers, hay, and corn stalks will also be accepted. All items must be free of plastic or metal.
All three locations will be open from 8:00-11:00a on Saturday, November 2, and Saturday, November 9.
