Police have arrested a Canandaigua man who they say held a senior citizen captive inside of a city residence for over three days.
Michael Phillips is accused of causing injuries to the woman, who was over the age of 65. She was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital and released. In addition to kidnapping and assault charges, the 31-year-old Phillips was charged with obstructing governmental administration for allegedly refusing to be fingerprinted or photographed by Canandaigua Police.
Phillips was sent to Ontario County Jail without bail.
