Only one person was injured following a Saturday car crash in the Town of Palmyra.

According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened around 9:00a when Stacy Granito lost control of her vehicle on State Route 21. The 36-year-old Walworth woman drifted into oncoming traffic, crashing into another vehicle.

Granito was the only one injured. She was taken to Newark Wayne Community Hospital for treatment of her non-life-threatening injuries.

She was then cited for speed not reasonable or prudent and will answer the citation in Palmyra Town Court at a later date.
