It took an Ontario County jury about a half-hour to convict a local man of a number of felonies for stealing a pickup truck with a cattle trailer attached from a farm in Livingston County and leading police on a brief chase that ended in the city of Canandaigua.
While attempting to evade police in September of 2021, Jeffrey Dibble struck two vehicles before hitting a utility pole and fleeing on foot where he was soon captured.
A multiple-time convicted felon, Dibble faces 10 to 25 years in prison or could get 25 years to life when sentenced on May 15th.
