A jury has acquitted an Ontario County man of manslaughter charges in connection to the stabbing death of another man in August of 2023.
Jacob Chittenden was charged with stabbing Adam Record multiple times in the driveway of Chittenden’s parents’ home in Victor after being ambushed by the 26-year-old Manchester man. Chittenden’s lawyer claimed his client acted in self-defense after Record followed him from a Fairport bar.
The 20-year-old Chittenden suffered a broken ankle in the attack.
