The Women’s Right to Run was held Saturday in Seneca Falls.

The 5K in person race and the 19K virtual run celebrates the passing of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote. The races serve as a powerful reminder of the long, difficult journey women traveled to obtain their right to vote.

300 people took part in the races.

Work begins today along the Geneva lakefront for the set up of another race.

“Ironman 70.3 Musselman” which will be this Sunday. The swim is 1.2 miles, the run is 13.1 miles, and the bike ride is 56 miles. The Ironman Village and Merchandise Store are on the lakefront.  Parking is at Seneca Lakes State Park.
