Calling it an honor to partner with Dave Brisbane and Marine Corps League 468 NY, State Senator Pam Helming’s Toys for Tots campaign came to an on Monday. Helming told FLX Morning Brisbane has already seen firsthand the impact donations are having in the Finger Lakes.
“Just hearing how these local agencies who receive these toys for families – and we see some families come in and pick ups – it’s just an incredible feeling to know that there are so many generous people throughout our community who are willing to donate. And then to hear about the happiness that creates for others, that’s just very important.”
Helming said Canandaigua Academy’s National Honor Society, the Key Club, and all of the English classrooms also collected for Toys for Tots.
