Wayne County’s nuclear power plant will be performing a test of its public notification system Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m.
The Ginna Nuclear Plant in Ontario will be sounding all 96 sirens in its 10-mile radius at 9:30 for three-to-five minutes. Additional single-siren tests are also expected throughout the day.
The tests are to ensure public safety. No response from the public is needed.
