Connie’s Diner in Waterloo will reopen next Tuesday after delays following July 29th fire that caused significant structural damage.
The reopening comes after insurance-related complications pushed back the diner’s original reopening timeline.
It was work being done to install new awnings, sparks from a welding torch started the fire. It was the second fire at the diner in three years.
