Geneva Teen Arrested for Alleged Role in 2024 Car Thefts in Seneca Falls

A 19-year-old from Geneva has been arrested following a nearly yearlong investigation into numerous reports of cars being broken into and damaged throughout the Town of Seneca Falls.

During the early morning hours of April 9th, 2024, Justin Letts and three other people took part in a spree of vehicle break-ins which led to two cars being stolen and later destroyed by the group. Letts was arrested by Seneca Falls Police Tuesday on two counts of grand larceny and criminal mischief, all felonies, as well as four misdemeanor counts of conspiracy and a single charge of petit larceny.

Letts was processed and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
