Geneva Sets Date for Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

The date is set for the City of Geneva’s annual tree lighting ceremony. Featuring live music, a visit from Kris Kringle, and festive activities, the event will run from 5:30-7:00p on December 6 at City Hall.

One lucky child will get the opportunity to light the Christmas tree with Mayor Valentino.

Children can also get their pictures taken with Santa, get IDs made courtesy of the Geneva Police Department, and enjoy free popcorn and hot chocolate from the BID.

Police will also have their Fill the Cruiser toy drive and carriage rides will be available from 5:00-8:00p.
