A 16-year veteran of the Geneva Police Department has been promoted to Sergeant.
JD Winter was officially promoted to the rank on November 3rd and was sworn into his new role last week. Sgt. Winter is the senior member of the Department’s Road Patrol division. He is an evidence technician, a field training officer, a firearms instructor, and a reality-based instructor.
Before his promotion, Sgt. Winter spent four years with the Detective Bureau.
