Middle School Student Accused of Bringing Airsoft Gun to Geneva School

An investigation is underway at Geneva Middle School after a student was allegedly found to be in possession of an airsoft gun Tuesday. The school posted the following statement on its website:

“This morning, a Geneva Middle School student was found in possession of an airsoft gun. Another student saw the weapon and reported it. School administrators are questioning the student who brought the airsoft gun to school; the student will face disciplinary action.

As with all matters of student safety, we have taken this very seriously and will act accordingly. At no time were any staff or students in danger.

We’d like to thank the student who provided us with the information necessary to investigate. Please encourage your child to let a teacher or administrator know if a situation exists that could ever put them and others at risk.”

The incident happened just before 10 o’clock Tuesday morning.
