Geneva Man Arrested for Saturday Kidnapping

A Geneva man has been arrested following an alleged kidnapping Saturday morning.

Geneva Police say they were called to a Hamilton Street residence at around 2:15a for the reported kidnapping. It is alleged that Dakota McKoy unlawfully entered the home and abducted the victim.

Following an extensive search, the 35-year-old and the victim were found by State Troopers and Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies in the Village of Waterloo.

McKoy was charged with Kidnapping and Criminal Contempt, both felonies and taken to jail to await arraignment.
