A Geneva man has been arrested on a felony charge of predatory sexual assault against a child.
The arrest of Jorge Rodriguez-Merced stems from an investigation alleging that throughout 2022, the 30-year-old committed the crime of course of sexual conduct against a child who was under the age of 13. Police say the victim in this case is known to the suspect and there is no threat to the public.
The investigation is ongoing.
