Geneva’s legal cannabis dispensary “High Points” on Routes 5&20 next to Denny’s could reopen later this week.
The dispensary opened last November but closed at the end of last year when the temporary license ran out. Lawsuits and other delays by the state have caused the dispensary to remain closed. Owner Daryl Hilkert on the Finger Lakes Morning News says the state’s Office of Cannabis Management is slow to respond.
Hilkert says they have received a new license and are waiting for final state compliance approval. Another new round of cannabis licenses will be announced on Friday.
