Four Dogs Seized From Seneca County Residence; Owner Charged

Four dogs were taken to the Beverly Animal Shelter after being removed from a Seneca County residence following a complaint of animal cruelty.

During the investigation, the Ovid Dog Control Officer reportedly found four dogs owned by Cori Spears in poor health.

The 44-year-old Spears was charged by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office with four counts of failure to provide proper sustenance and will appear in Ovid Town Court at a later date.
