FLX Farms Participating in Maple Weekends

You’ll soon have a chance to visit your local maple farms and learn about the traditions and processes that make maple syrup and confections.

Sponsored by the New York State Maple Producers’ Association, this weekend and the next will be Maple Weekends across the Empire State. Visitors at participating farms will get the chance to learn about and experience firsthand how maple products are made as well as taste fresh products made with local ingredients.

In the Finger Lakes, the following locations are participating.

  • Packard Valley Farms (Macedon)
  • Red Shed Sweets (Naples)
  • Schiek’s Maple Products (Penn Yan)
  • Schoff’s Sugar Shack (Victor)
  • Schoolyard Sugarbush (Newfield)
  • Shadow Hill Maple Syrup (Ontario)
  • Smokey Hollow Maple Syrup (Jordan)
  • Stoney Ridge Farms (Elmira)
  • Timber Trails Forest Farm (Canandaigua)

New York is the second largest maple producer in the US with only Vermont producing more.
