FLCC Student Awarded Sheriff’s Institute Scholarship

A Finger Lakes Community College student has been named the recipient of the 2023 New York State Sheriff’s Institute’s Criminal Justice Scholarship.

Caleb Rossier was presented with the award that is given annually to a student at the college who is pursuing a career in criminal justice and maintains academic excellence. Rossier, who is from the Canandaigua area, was selected by his professors for the $500 award.

Rossier said his ultimate goal is to become a U.S. Marshall.
