38 acres of forested land in Ontario County has been acquired by the Finger Lakes Land Trust.
The Wesley Hill Nature Preserve land is located in the towns of Richmond and South Bristol and the preserve now encompasses 428 acres of conserved lands near the southern end of Honeoye Lake.
Located in Audubon-designated New York Important Bird Area, the Wesley Hill Preserve is situated within a growing complex of conserved lands and plays an important role in maintaining the Lake’s water quality by stabilizing steep, erodible slopes that reduce nutrient runoff.
