Driver Charged After Car Hits Utility Pole and Overturns in Ontario County

A 21-year-old Bloomfield man was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital after his car went off the road, struck a utility pole, and overturned in a field.

The accident involving Noah Brewer happened at 3234 Oakmount Road in East Bloomfield at around 5:45 Friday afternoon. Brewer was taken by East Bloomfield Ambulance to the Rochester hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.

Brewer was later arrested for driving while intoxicated, a charge he will answer in East Bloomfield Town Court at a later date.

East Bloomfield Fire and East Bloomfield Ambulance, along with Canandaigua EMS assisted the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
