Five Correction Officers with the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office have successfully completed training to become certified Field Training Officers. Field Training Officers are integral to our new members as they will share their knowledge, experience, and the tools to build a solid career. The training was held at the Law Enforcement Center in Romulus and was instructed by Sergeant Williams and Officer Hansen.

The newest Field Training Officers are Officer Kevin Close, Officer Michael Hefferon, Officer Caleb Mein, Officer Paul Reynolds, and Officer BrieAnna Shepard.

Sheriff Tim Thompson remarked, “Effective training is a key component to the success of any organization. I commend these new Field Training Officers and our Instructors for their commitment to the future.”
