A convicted rapist who lives in Canandaigua has been arrested for allegedly having sex with an underage girl this summer.
An investigation into multiple incidents that police say occurred in the last three months found David Sevigny allegedly had sex with the girl, who is not yet 15 years old. Sevigny was charged with predatory sexual assault due to his previous conviction.
He is being held at the Ontario County Jail without bail.
A full stay-away order of protection was issued for the victim.
