City of Canandaigua to Plant Trees on Arbor Day

For the 32nd year in a row, the City of Canandaigua will celebrate Arbor Day Friday with a ceremonial tree planting.

The ceremonial tree planting of a Red Maple and a Weeping Willow will happen along the State Route 5&20 side of Lagoon Park at 1 p.m. Friday.  Last year, the city planted a Honey Locust Tree on the City Pier

All are welcome to join City Staff, the City Tree Advisory Board, and representatives of the City Council in celebrating Arbor Day on Friday. Parking is available in the far west parking lot of Wegmans.
