Police have identified the woman struck by a car after the driver of the vehicle she was a passenger in fled a traffic stop with police and was involved in an accident.

It happened Friday afternoon on Route 104 in the town of Ontario when police attempted to pull over a car whose occupants were allegedly involved in a larceny at Walgreens. After 29-year-old Phillip Lenhart, of Rochester, crashed near Lincoln Road, he and 41-year-old Jillian Gurger, of Canandaigua, took off on foot. Gurger ran into the eastbound lanes of 104 and was struck by another car.

Gurger was taken to Strong for a head injury while Lenhart was taken to the same hospital after he started to show signs of a possible drug overdose while in custody.

Lenhart was arrested for driving while ability impaired by drugs, fleeing a traffic stop, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, and two counts of petit larceny.
