A fatal car accident that happened in Livingston County claimed the life of a Canandaigua man.
69-year-old Lloyd Key was a passenger in a car that struck a trailer that had broken away from a semi-truck at a business in the town of Lima and came to rest in the middle of East Main Road shortly after 5 o’clock on the morning of October 17th. Key passed away at Strong Memorial Hospital where the driver and two other passengers in the car were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, Perry Grenon, of Newark, was ticketed for operating out of restrictions, and for driving an unregistered, uninspected, and uninsured vehicle.
