Assemblyman Gallahan Secures $80K for New Body Scanner at Seneca County Jail

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office is one step closer to adding new security technology at the county jail.

Assemblyman Jeff Gallahan has presented an $80,000 check to help purchase a body scanner designed to detect contraband and keep staff, inmates, and visitors safe.

During his visit, Gallahan toured the facility with Jail Lieutenant Joshua Kierst, learning more about daily operations and the ongoing efforts to maintain a secure environment.
