Two people were injured in a car crash Sunday morning at the intersection of Routes 5 & 20 and Lenox Road in Geneva. Ontario County Sheriffs Deputies say one car struck another from behind.
63-year-old Carrie Stark of Macedon was trapped in her car and suffered severe injuries. She was airlifted by Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital. The driver of the other car, 31-year-old Shayla Sapp of Geneva was treated for cuts and back pain at Geneva General Hospital.
Waterloo, White Springs, and Border City Fire Departments and Finger Lakes Ambulance responded to the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
