For the first time in a decade, there are two Democrats hoping to become the next Ontario County Clerk.
Elizabeth Yockel and Hiedi Barend-Guerrie are seeking their party’s nomination to run against Republican candidate Jean Chrisman.
Yockel is a former member of the Richmond Town Board having served on the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee, Parks and Rec Committee, and the Honeoye Economic Development Task Force.
Barend-Guerrie has worked for several years in the County Clerk’s office.
The primary will take place June 27th.
