Students at Weedsport School will begin voting next week to narrow a list of five finalists for the school’s new nickname down to two or three.
The finalists include Evergreen, Express, Green Wave, Thunderbolts, and Wolverines.
Voting for students will take place from Wednesday until October 25th. The community and alumni will have a chance to weigh in with their votes in early November. The board will adopt the new nickname on November 6th.
