A Weedsport man has pled guilty to Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
According to the Cayuga County District Attorney’s Office, 42-year-old Michael Peterson admitted in court Wednesday to sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 13 for roughly six years. The plea took place before a trial began.
Peterson faces a mandatory minimum of 14 years to life in prison when sentenced in November.
