The numbers are in and Seymour Library’s budget has been approved.
The vote to approve the $1,023,170 budget for the Auburn area library passed 177-32 on Wednesday.
Residents of the parts of Owasco and Sennett that fall within the library district were also able to elect people to represent them on the library’s board of trustees. Debra Daloia and Michael McCole were also elected to represent Sennett and William Foster was elected to represent Owasco.
The budget takes effect in January 2024 and calls for a $975,000 tax levy.
