University of Rochester Medicine’s mobile mammography van will be in Cayuga County on Tuesday.
The service will offer breast cancer screenings from 9:30a-2:30p at the Village of Union Springs’ office parking lot. Screening mammograms are offered to women 40 years or older or those 35-39 if it’s their first mammogram.
Screenings last approximately 15 minutes; however, those using a wheelchair or an interpreter, or those with breast implants may require more time.
Appointments are preferred and walk-ins will only be accepted if time allows. To schedule an appointment, call 1-844-870-0002 or send an email to [email protected]. Attendees are also asked to bring a copy of their insurance and an ID if they aren’t already in UR Medicine’s system.
