Update: The library has postponed its fundraiser until July 23 due to reports of inclement weather.

Earlier this year, the Hazard Library announced its plan to move and build a new facility at the Opendore Museum in Sherwood.
Library Director Lisa Semenza says their fundraising efforts start in earnest this Sunday.
“We’re going to be having a concert that’s a fundraiser,” Semenza told Finger Lakes News Radio. “Perform 4 Purpose is coming to play, along with Lake Country Trio. We’ll be having bag raffles and silent auction items, and possibly a white elephant table. There’ll be a food truck from Dugan’s and games for the kids.
The event begins at 1:00p at Opendore.
The library needs to raise $350-thousand to match a state grant.
