Two Auburn police captains, Matthew Androsko and Kyle Platt, are in the running to become the next Auburn Police Chief.

According to The Citizen, both passed the most recent civil service exam for the position, administered by the Auburn Civil Service Commission. Androsko and Platt, both Cayuga County natives, are longtime members of the department.
