Two Injured in Saturday Crash in Sennett

Two people suffered minor injuries after a two-car accident over the weekend in the Town of Sennett.

According to State Police, the incident happened just before 3:30p on Saturday at the intersection of Countyline Rd and Franklin St when a northbound Mercedes-Benz struck a Jeep Cherokee travelling eastbound on Franklin St.

The driver of the Merces, 24-year-old William Khalil, and a passenger, 29-year-old John Khalil, both of Cazenovia, were taken to Upstate Medical Center for minor injuries. The other passengers, 19-year-old John Trepcos of Lebanon, and a 16-year-old male, were uninjured

The driver of the Jeep, 26-year-old Jordynn Richards of Skaneateles, was also uninjured.

William Khalil was issued a traffic citation.
